WOLFSBURG, Germany - The Herbie-Parade – a line-up of Volkswagen Beetles and New Beetles – is rolling through Berlin’s city centre this afternoon.

Many special automobiles can be spotted in the line-up: Among those is the very last out of the 21.529.464 Beetles made overall before the assembly ended in Mexico in the summer of 2003. Also there are early models of the 1950s as well as numerous type 1200 and type 1302-veterans from the early 70s. Among the Volkswagen New Beetles there is a strong convertible-share. A specialty is a unique New Beetle Pick-Up.

Shootingstar Yvonne Catterfeld, the rock band Manfred Mann’s Earth Band as well as the newcomers Itchycoo will entertain the audience at the premiere-party of Disney and Volkswagen, after the sundown the movie “Herbie fully loaded” will begin.
