Volkswagen Adjusts Prices in Germany

Text from Volkswagen AG.
WOLFSBURG, Germany - With effect of 1 June 2006, Volkswagen is increasing the recommended retail prices of all models in Germany by an average of 0.9 percent.

The new Volkswagen Eos cabriolet coupé launched in May and the Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion, the most economical Polo ever, which will be in the showrooms from July, are not affected by this.

The increase remains well below the general level of inflation in Germany, which in March 2006 stood at 1.8 percent.
